Tournament rules
Tivoli Cup is played according to the rules formulated by FIFA and the Danish Football Association (DBU).
Fair Play
Following criteria during the whole tournament:
* Giving hands to the opponents and referee before kick off.
* Giving hands to the opponents and referee after the game.
* Taking care off the opponents.
* Showing Fair Play during the match, no cheating and filming.
* Avoid protest and red cards.
* Taking part off the good spirit during the tournament
* Showing Fair Play from the leaders, coaches and parents.
* Keeping order in the club house and accommodation.
Dispensation
Dispensations will automatically be given to 2 players per team who are maximum one year older than the age class admit. In classes B16, G11, G13 and G15 teams from countries that still use the 1st of August-limit (USA and England) may also use players 5 months older than the age class admit.
Referees
Referees are appointed by Frederiksborg Referees’ Association. Linesmen will be provided for intermediary rounds and finals. Teams must provide their own linesmen for the preliminary rounds.
Throphies:
Tivoli Cup Trophies: Teams 1-4 Tivoli Cup (all categories)
Medals: 1-3 (20 per team)
B-finals Trophies: Teams 1-2 B-finals (all categories)
B-finals are a separate tournament for teams that do not qualify for the intermediary rounds of the Tivoli Cup. The competition of the B-finals is based on an elimination system.
Friendly matches
Teams wishing to play friendly matches may play such matches on Thursday and Friday
